Tersak's Family Martial Arts Academy

Fantastic Martial Arts studio for the whole family. My child has attended for many years, and loves going every week. They have great instructors for students at every level, from 3yo through adults, including opportunities for students to help lead and assist as they work their way up. A mixed martial arts program, using a combination of styles as you advance, instruction is based primarily on Tang Soo Do. Teaching focuses heavily on Respect and Self-discipline. Organized belt progression program requiring skills and learning.

Daughter is in karate. She is having fun!

I’m writing from the perspective of a Dad who transferred from another school with his two sons as brown belts. I’ll also add the caveat that my opinion is clearly different than those who have trained exclusively here. When I first inquired with the school I did so via email. Thinking back, my first impression was solely based on the written communications. It felt slightly pushy, but I ignored it. When we took our first class, I remember feeling overwhelmed and disappointed.
