An Orange school for CNA and healthcare provider courses
California Providers Training Center is a healthcare training school in Orange. It's where people start out as nurse aides or renew a provider card. Orange counted 138,365 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau, and sits in Orange County.
The median home in town was built in 1973, per the American Community Survey's 2024 figures. The school itself is family owned. Its website names Jaclyn and Joe Vasquez as the owners. Both are registered nurses with master's degrees, and the site says they have more than 20 years of healthcare experience between them.
CNA training, BLS and ACLS at CPTC
The big draw is the CNA program. The school describes a five week weekday track and a 12 week weekend track. Tuition is $1,850, and the school says that covers an ebook, a uniform, Livescan and BLS. There's also a one week, 40 hour Home Health Aide course for $450.
For people already working in healthcare, CPTC runs American Heart Association classes like ACLS and BLS. It also lists an intro class on IV therapy skills. Doors are open 7:30 am to 8 pm every day of the week.
CPTC holds a 4.6 rating from 73 reviews. Reviewers mostly talk about patient, engaging instructors, plenty of hands-on skills practice and small classes. A few describe slow replies and a rough time sorting out paperwork after the course ended.
If you're new to Orange and curious about healthcare work, the 12 week weekend CNA track is an easy way to try it out on Saturdays and Sundays.

I obtained my CNA License 3 years ago , and I can say it was the best decision I ever made. The coursework, hands-on skills training, and clinical experience really opens the pathway to seeing how nursing really is. I just graduated from West Coast University and I can proudly and confidently say that getting my CNA license really helped me during my nursing journey as it gave me a foundation to rely on. If i could give 10 stars I’d give them 10 stars 100% !
I highly recommend the BLS class provided by Joey. I have taken this class many times with other providers throughout my healthcare years, but Joey’s teaching style has been the most engaging by far. He provides practical examples from his experience as a healthcare provider which gives you insight and real world knowledge along with the training material. Saved his number in my contacts for when my renewal comes along.
10/10 would recommend.Amazing instructors and program.
